nestlé: a million ways to outshine
Outshine is the maker of refreshingly delicious frozen fruit bars that are made with simple, honest ingredients. Alcone was tasked with designing a program to build brand awareness and drive trial for Outshine’s new Fruit and Veggie bars.
Alcone’s big idea was to launch the “A Million Ways to Outshine” program, which was centered around a summer sampling tour, giving out 1 million samples of Fruit and Veggie bars and 1 million pounds of fruits and veggies donated to food banks around the country.
Each Outshine stop on the tour consisted of a branded frozen treat truck, a branded pop-up tent, retractable banners featuring a Call to Action for the donation program via Feed America, brand ambassadors with branded cooler bags and a photo backdrop for fun, shareable selfies. Consumers were encouraged to join the cause by showing how they #Outshine on social media.
