Fans of Skinny Cow®, makers of divinely decadent (yet amazingly better-for-you) candies, ice cream and iced coffee, feel so passionately about the brand that they see it as their own private little secret. The brand wanted to capitalize on that insight in a way that rewarded their most loyal “mavens” and made new ones along the way. Our big idea: The Skinny Cow Secret Speakeasy, a night of divine decadence, exclusive deliciousness, and secret sharing in Los Angeles.
how we brought it to life
Last summer, Skinny Cow® called on some of her favorite mavens to slip on that little black dress for an exclusive Secret Speakeasy soirée. The historic Edison Lounge in Downtown LA served as the elaborate backdrop for a day-time media event with Sofia Vergara and the evening event for Skinny’s consumers, bloggers and influencers.
what’s the password?
Like any respectable Speakeasy, we didn’t open the doors to just anyone. Mavens gained entry only after securing one of the skeleton key invitations from our LA-based sampling events earlier in the year. Once inside, every sweet tooth was satisfied as we crafted iced coffee cocktails, passed around luscious appetizers, and opened up coolers full of Vanilla Almond Crunch ice cream bars.
Mavens willing to dish their most deep, dark, chocolatey secrets slid into the Skinny Cow Confession Booth to spill their secrets on a custom App that we designed. Everyone who shared their secret then cashed it in for a fab Skinny Cow clutch.
